My practice is that of a business lawyer, primarily in real estate, but with substantial experience in many facets of business law. In 1982 I earned my law degree from Indiana University, Maurer School of Law, Bloomington, Indiana (go Hoosiers!). My initial foray into the practice of law was in Arizona where I practiced until 1988.   I became licensed to practice in California in 1988. In 1995 I opened my own practice and have happily been working for myself since then.  I have been married for 36 years and, with my one and only wife, have raised in Oakland two fantastic, accomplished daughters.

On a personal note, I own commercial real estate in Oakland, and have served as a board of director member for two local non profits, Oakland Youth Chorus and Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir.
