I received my undergraduate degree in English Literature (cum laude, 1979) from Indiana University. I graduated in the top third of my class from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington, in 1982. In the same year I became licensed to practice in Arizona, where I worked in Flagstaff, and Phoenix, for a small firm. I later left the firm to work in the State District Attorney's office.
I was the Deputy Prosecutor in the Maricopa County Attorney's office in Phoenix.In 1988, I became licensed to practice in California, where I worked for a series of law firms. In 1995, I leaned on my experience as a business lawyer to start my law own firm, Patrick D. Zimski Attorney at Law. Today, I offer practical cost-effective services to clients from all over the state, including Berkeley, Walnut Creek, and the entire East Bay, San Francisco, San Jose, the South Bay, and Oakland, California. I also am licensed in federal courts in Arizona and California.I have been happily married for more than 20 years. We have raised two beautiful daughters, ages 22 and 17. In addition to spending time with my family, I also enjoy road cycling, history, politics, and travel.
